We went internal
Alterra now has an executor. It gets a 100% score on sUNC and 99% on Myriad, and we built the entire thing in about a month.
It's still in its early stages though. There are some missing features, and it's not as stable as we'd like it to be yet. That said, we're pushing updates almost every day, and it's getting better at a very rapid rate. As for the external, it's discontinued, maintaining both an internal and an external is just too tedious.
A lot of people have been saying that Alterra is a copy of Opiumware since it's source code leaked. We did study the leaked source, but we didn't build on top of it. Our executor was written from scratch, in Rust. Opiumware is written in C++. If anyone actually reverse engineered Alterra and compared it to Opiumware, they would find that there's almost zero overlap. Alterra and Opiumware do things very differently.
One of the people that has been saying that Alterra is a copy of Opiumware is SK (yes, we're doing a personal callout in a blog). SK has been working on his own executor, Helios, for about a year now. He keeps saying that we copied Opiumware, but we think that people who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. SK has been leeching off Opiumware since day one. He's friends with the owner and has been getting help from him, and he even paid for him to teach him how to avoid getting detected by Roblox. He even got a copy of Opiumware's source handed to him. Even with all of that, he still hasn't managed to release Helios. We also would like you to know that we built and released our executor in a month, without anyone's help. We built our own dumper, our own decompiler, and we figured out detections on our own.
Anyway, that's all we wanted to say.
